Creating a Business Page
A Facebook business page is a free web page that companies can build on Facebook to expand their internet presence. Like a personal Facebook profile, your Facebook business page can send and receive messages, post updates, get notifications, and like, comment and share other Facebook users’ and pages’ content.
Create a Facebook Business Page
1. Log into your Personal Account
In order to set up a Facebook Business page, you must already have a Personal account created. If you do not have a Personal Facebook page, you can easily create one by visiting Facebook.com and entering your information under Create a New Account.
IMPORTANT NOTE: The personal account will be the ‘owner’ of the Facebook Business Page. For this reason, we suggest that the Business Page is created under the business owner’s personal account. This will prevent the hassle of transferring the ownership of the Business Page in the event an employee is to leave the company.
