Identity Confirmation
To help protect people from poor and potentially harmful ad experiences and better ensure platforms are a trustworthy place for people, organizations and businesses, Facebook monitors and investigate advertiser behavior. It is common practice for Facebook to require identity confirmation upon the creation of new business and ad accounts. Follow the steps below to complete the identity confirmation process.
Identity Confirmation
1. Log into your Facebook Account and visit the Account Quality page.
While logged in to your Facebook account, visit https://www.facebook.com/accountquality/.
2. Select Facebook Account
On the left-hand side menu, select Facebook Account.
3. Verify Your Identity.
On the right hand side of the screen, in the What can you do section, select the Confirm Identity button.
If the identity confirmation has previously been started, select the Continue Request button to proceed with the verification process.
**Important Note: You are granted 30 days to complete this process. If the process is not completed within that timeframe advertising access will be permanently disabled on your account.
4. Complete Requested Information
Facebook will provided a variety of requests, such as cell phone verification, photo ID upload, etc. Complete and submit the requested information.
5. Facebook Review
Facebook will review your provided information and alert you if additional information is required to complete the verification process.
